Haddonfield did it again!!!
For the second straight year, the Dawgs broke out the brooms and swept the NJSIAA Group 2 Relay Championships on Friday night at the Bennett Center in Toms River.
HADDONFIELD GIRLS 3-PEAT - TIE STATE RECORD
The Haddonfield girls captured their third straight Group 2 title to raise their total to 11 satte championships, which ties the girls' state record.
Haddonfield, which has won 5 titles in Group 1 and now 6 in Group 2, tied Willingboro and Union Catholic for the most state relay titles in NJ history with 11.
Haddonfield scored 48 points to outscore Willingboro and Rumson-Fair Haven, who tied for second with 36.
Haddonfield, led by double-winners Molly Mills and Dylan Hosty, won the DMR and 4x800.
In the field, the Dawgs finshed first in the pole vault as Nina Fisicaro (10-6) and Ema Lazarova (8-0) combined for the victory.
Haddonfield also picked up a second in the SMR, a fourth in the 4x400 and a third in the shuttle hurdles.

HADDONFIELD BOYS GO BACK-TO-BACK
In the boys' competition, Haddonfield won its 8th state relay title, the 5th most in state history for a boys' program, by scoring 43 points. Bernards was second with 28.
Haddonfield has won 6 titles in Group 1 and now back-to-back championships in Group 2.
Haddonfield, which won one event and placed second in four events, won the 4x800 in 8:19.84 as Pete Simpson, Ben Andrus, Owen Snyder and Ryan Gibson sharedn the baton. The Dawgs picked up 28 points with its 4 runner-up finishes, which came in the DMR, SMR, shuttle hurdles and the high jump. Haddonfield also earned a point for placing 6th in the pole vault.
