Penn Relays: St. Peter's Prep Rocks The 4x100, Wins NE Title

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -  St. Peter's Prep had plenty to say after Thursday's 4x100-meter relay trials about how fast they were going to run and how no one could beat them in the Northeast Championship race at the 129th Penn Relays presented by Toyota.

The foursome of junior Neko Luzzi-Liggins, freshman Jevon Ledgister, senior Darryl Coleman, and junior Hunter Watson backed up their words with an electrifying performance on Friday as they flashed ther firepower and blew up the track at historic Franklin Field with a heart-pounding victory, stopping the clock at 41.42!!! That time is No. 9 in NJ history, and it smashed the Northeast Championship event record and the Hudson County record!

In a race featuring 5 NJ teams, St. Peter's Prep, who ran 41.71 in the 4x100 trials on Thursday, edged Cumberland Valley of Pa. second in 41.43.
