This article features the Group Champions from Bergen County as well as all the individual and team advancers heading to the Bergen County Lou Molino Meet of Champions on October 26th at Darlington Park.

The team outlook for the Bergen MOCs sees Ridgewood as strong favorites for another team title sweep, last year the boys and girls won both titles with the same low score of 23 points. And if everyone competes on Saturday these talented 2024 squads are certainly capable of pulling this off once again.
Individually for the boys Luke Pash of Ridgewood is the heavy favorite to repeat, he's in conversation for the NJSIAA Meet of Champions let alone the Bergen Meet of Champions.
Pash won his first BMOC cross country title last year as a junior with a course PR of 15:27 and was fourth as a sophomore in 2022 running 16:09. Some other key individuals include but are not limited to Michael McGinnity of Hackensack, Jimmy Hernandez of Bergenfield, and Aidan Morrow of Hasbrouck Heights who was fourth last year at BMOC.
Individually the girls' title race isn't as easy to throw a prediction out for, assuming none of these stars hold out to rest for Sectionals the following week.
Rising sophomore star Dominique Cameron of Leonia led the entirety of the Bergen Group meet with her Group C winning time of 18:35.
Cameron could see a tough rematch with cross-country newcomer Alice Rappazzo of Westwood, second in Group C at 18:46. Then there is Ridgewood freshman Natalie Knowles who won Group A convincingly at 19:19, a number of her Ridgewood teammates could be in the mix as well. Brianna Potaki of Ramapo was fifth last year at BMOC and recorded the fifth fastest time of Groups this past weekend at 19:26.

Individually the top 50 times in the meet merge advanced. Every Group Championship winning team advanced as well as six wild card teams from the merge, though one team must come from Groups C or D.
