The Deptford boys earned a three-peat while the Haddonfield girls regained their title at Saturday's NJSIAA Group 2 Relays at the Bennett Center in Toms River.

In the boys competition, Deptford, led by Christian Berry and Darryl Wayman, captured its fourth title in five years with a 44-32 victory over runner-up Willingboro.

Berry and Wayman ran on three relays.

The seniors teamed up with sophomore Kareem Brown and senior Abu Jabbie to finish first in the SMR in 3:43.55. Berry and Wayman were also part of the runner-up 4x400 that ran 3:32.27 that included Sean Nieves and Tabb, and they were joined by Kamari and Kareem Brown on the 4x200 relay that ran 1:34.54 to finish third.

The rest of the points for the Spartans came in the shuttle hurdles, second in 31.05, the high jump, second with a combined 11-2, and fifth-place finishes in the 4x800 ad pole vault.

On the girls side of things, Haddonfield won three events and placed third or better in five of the other six events on the way to dominate 62-41 victory over runner-up Point Pleasant Boro.

Haddonfield has now captured two of the last three titles and nine overall, which is tied with Union Catholic for the fourth most girls relay titles in meet history. Only Willingboro, which as won 11, and Hopewell Valley and Columbia (10 each) have captured more titles than the Dawgs.

Haddonfield, which received athletes contributions from several athletes on its march to the title, picked up its three wins in the DMR in 12:51.18, the 4x800 in 10:00.43, and the pole vault with a meet record tying total of 21-0!!

In the pole vault, junior Rebecca Hoover cleared a meet best and NJ No. 2 11-6, and senior Mia Bompensa made 9-6, the second best performance of the meet, to tie the Group 2 record of 21-0 and shatter Haddonfield's school record! Haddonfield's 21-0 equaled the Group 2 record that Ramapo set in 2013.,

On the track, senior Stella Stolarick, junior Audrey Adams, and sophomore Riley Austin all helped the Dawgs rack up big points.

Stolarick and Austin ran on the winning 4x800 and DMR and third-place 4x400 squad. Adams (4-8) and
Maeve Hurly (4-8) gave Haddonfield a runner-up finish in the high jump, and Adams also ran on the third-place shuttle hurdle team (34.10), and third-place SMR team (4:21.34). The Dawgs also also finished third in the 4x200 in 1:49.59.
