The Union County Championships promises to be filled with red hot performances and eye-popping results when the 2-day meet is held on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Milt Campbell Track and Field Complex in Plainfield.

The Union Catholic girls are huge favorites to win their eighth straight title while the UC boys, who are seeking a three-peat, will clash with a strong group of teams seeking to dethrone them, led by Westfield, Elizabeth, Union, and Rahway.

It sure is tough to a break a meet record in Union County when some of the biggest stars in state history have competed at this meet, but there a few records that could go down, especially in the loaded distance races! Stay tuned!!!
This just in-defending 1,600 champion Colin Riley of Dayton said this morning that he will not be racing. He said he has an IT band issue that he's recovering from.
