Throwback Thursday: Trenton's Epic Triple At Penn Relays

New Jersey has produced countless epic baton-passing moments at the historic Penn Relays. But which one is the very best of the best? Which team has produced the greatest relay performance at Penn in NJ history?

There are so many great ones to choose from, but there should be little doubt that the most stunning performance of them all came 45 years ago when the Trenton boys nearly won three Championship of America races!!! The Tornadoes, coached by the great Al Jennings, won the 4x400 and the 4x800, and placed second in the DMR, a race many feel they would have won if it weren't for a mishap involving the order of the distance of each leg.
