Boler, Hausman, Seton Hall Prep Rock Millrose Trials

Collin Boler of Delbarton, Lindsay Hausman of Kent Place, and the Seton Hall Prep 4x400 relay all dropped red hot times to finish first and qualify for the Millrose Games at Wednesday's Trials at the New York Armory.

Boler, who is headed to Princeton University, closed with a blazing 2:01 and change over the final half mile to win the boys mile in a NJ No. 1/ US No. 9 4:14.98, just under the standard of 4:15 to earn a spot in the 115th Millrose Games on Feb. 11 at the NY Armory. Brian Boler, Colin's twin, was second in 4:17.96, and Rahway's Micah Lawson finished fourth in 4:20.31.

In the girls mile, Hausman, who is headed to Duke, qualified for Millrose with an impressive victory PR of 4:56.36, which is NJ No.1/US No. 6). RBC's Cate DeSousa was second in 5:00.29.

Seton Hall Prep, the 2022 New Balance National champion in the 4x400, took over the No. 1 spot in the national rankings for this season by winning is heat in 3:20.36. The splits for Seton Hall Prep were 52.2 for Russell Webb, 50.1 for Ryan Matulonis, 48.3 for Xavier Donaldson, and 49.7 for Nick DeVita. That's the same foursome that won the national title for SHP last year.

In the girls 4x400, Timber Creek ran the fastest time of meet with a NJ No. 1 time of 4:01.76.
