Alexandra Bonn of Union Catholic, one of the nation's best horizontal jumpers, announced her college plans on Monday afternoon.

Bonn, who also also visited Georgetown and Dartmouth, had a sensational junior year at Union Catholic, highlighted by her triple jump sweep at the indoor and outdoor Meet of Champions.
Last winter, Bonn had a spectacular soared an indoor PR of 37-2.50 to win the triple jump at the indoor Meet of Champions and was sixth in the LJ at the M of C. She followed that up by earning All-American honors by placing third in the LJ with a 17-9.50 at the New Balance Indoor Nationals, and she also finished 11th at NBN in the TJ.
In the spring, Bonn was even more impressive as she bounded out to a big PR of 38-11 in the triple jump to finish 11th at the New Balance Nationals, and came back the next day to win her second Meet of Champions title in the TJ by soaring 38-6.75. She also placed fourth in the long jump at the M of C, and had a season best of 18-4.50 in the LJ.
Bonn, who owns a LJ PR of 18-8, has also won three state Non-Public A titles, two in the TJ and one in the LJ, has captured multiple Union County titles, and she owns PR's of 15.11 in the 100 hurdles, 8.77 in the 55 hurdles.
