Look out for Xavier Donaldson!

The junior at Seton Hall Prep dominated the short sprints at Friday's Red & Black Invitational at East Stroudsburg University in Pa. by winning both the 100m and 200m dashes with NJ No. 1 times in each race.

Donaldson won the 100 with a PR of 10.78, and he captured the half-lapper in 21.39, just off his indoor PR of 21.36 that he ran last month to place second at the Adidas National Championships.

In the both races, Donaldson edged North Hunterdon junior Kente Edwards, who ran NJ No. 2 times of 10.83 and 22.08, which are both school records.

Speaking of school records, Donaldson is getting very close to breaking Seton Hall Prep's 100m and 200m record that are held by one of the state's all-time greats, 2009 graduate Clayton Parros.

Parros, the state record holder in the 400 with a 45.71, also holds the Seton Hall Prep records of 10.63 in the 100m, and 21.31 in the 200. Parros went on to star at the University of North Carolina, and ran the 400 at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials.
