Performer Of The Week Poll - Outdoor 2021 Week 3


Week 3 of the NJ track and field season produced several NJ No. 1 performances, a bunch of sensational relay splits, and lots of personal bests.

Pouring over the results and social media over the week showed that there were eye-popping performances worthy of being of being considered for Athlete of the Week honors. 

But of all the great performances, which was the very best of the best? We're having a tough time deciding, so we'll let you decide. 

We've gathered a list of who we feel were the top performers over the last week, and put together a boys and girls poll down below. So, now the baton is in your hands. Let us know who NJ's best was this past week by casting your votes below. Get ur vote on!

Week 2 Winners - Poll Results

Boys - Brett Shea of Cherokee earned 20.9% of the vote for his 1:56.3 anchor on Cherokee's sprint medley relay. 

Girls - Anabella Chin of Rancocas Valley hurdled her way to a 64.96 in the 400H and the performance brought in 27% of the votes. RV really came out, her teammate Abigail Boggs voted second overall at 20% of the votes thanks to her 11-0 vault. 57% were for RV!

Week 2 Winners - Poll Results

Week 1 Winners - Poll Results - 1,885 Votes!

Boys - Tyler Konopka brought in almost 25% of the boys votes to win thanks to his 178-8 discus and 57-4.75 marks from week 1. His discus mark still leads the state as a NJ No. 1.

Girls - Julia Jackson on with 22% of the girls vote. In week 1 she recorded a 12.3 100m, 25.41 200m, and 54.98 400m. Jackson's 54.98 from Metuchen Relays still ranks NJ No. 1.
