Get ur NJ outdoor track and field back on!!! How awesome is it to finally have track and field back?!
First off, congrats to all the NJ T&F athletes, coaches, and meet directors for battling through a very difficult time over the last year. Your perseverance and commitment to the sport is to be commended.
Alright, let's get into how remarkable the first week of the first outdoor track and field season in New Jersey in nearly two years was as a mix of established stars, and several newcomers produced lots of smoke by burning up the track with outstanding performances all across the state.
Pouring over the results and social media from the opening week of action, NJ MileSplit was struck by all the school records, huge PR's, and new names that produced so many eye-popping performances! It shows how hard all the NJ's athletes have been working to make up for lost time.
But of all the great performances, which was the very best of the best? We're having a tough time deciding, so we'll let you decide.
