Some of Connecticut's top talent came down to Holmdel Park in New Jersey for exciting cross country action and they did not disappoint. Nicholas Bendtsen and Gavin Sherry took it to the line to decide the winner of the Gold Race at East Coast Championships on Saturday. Bendsten edging out Sherry by half a second at 15:40.
Callum Sherry also of CT ran to third timed at 16:00, New Jersey was led by Vidhur Polam in fourth running 16:05.
