Every returning sophomore for the 2020 season who recorded a 5K performance on any course last fall. Keep in mind that courses vary in speed, course specific articles will be releasing all summer and can be found in our season preview series.
Fastest 5K on here comes from Christian Brothers Academy's Nicholas Sullivan who recorded at 16:03 at Ocean County Park during the Shore Conference Championships. As a young frosh Sullivan worked his way into the teams starting seven and gained some invaluable big stage racing experience early on. He also won the freshman championship race in early November during the Freshman / JV State Meet at Thompson Park with his time of 16:56, the fourth fastest time of the meet when combining all the other races together and one of only five under 17 minutes that day. He enters his sophomore year with a Holmdel PR of 16:57.
