On Saturday during the Camel City Elite Invitational in Winston-Salem, NC high school senior Athing Mu ran 2:04.08 over 800 meters to place third in a professional level field. This is the same meet she broke the New Jersey indoor state record for 800 meters just over a year before clocking 2:03.98, which also moved Mu to US No. 4 all-time.

She now holds the two fastest times ever run indoor by New Jersey high school athletes, Ajee' Wilson has the third fastest time with a 2:04.13 from 2012.

Raevyn Rogers of Nike won Saturday's event running 2:03.15 after a strong 30.26 final 200 meter and in second competing for New Balance Lindsey Butterworth finished with 2:03.25.
