What a day for Nicole Vanasse!

First, the senior distance running star at Pingry ran 18:13 to win her second Somerset County XC Championships on Wednesday afternoon at Pleasant Valley Park in Bernards Township. Then a few hours later she announced that she will be attending Columbia University.

Vanasse, who has made a great comeback this season after an injury cut her outdoor track season short last springalso won the Somerset County XC crown as a sophomore in 2017.

Vanasse has put together a very impressive resume during her outstanding high school career.
