Orion Joyner and Mubeen Momodu put on the greatest triple jump show in the history of the South Jersey, Group 4 championships on Friday at Washington Township High School.

Joyner, a senior at Kingsway, shattered the meet record when he exploded for a massive PR and NJ#1 leap of 48-1.25 to finish first. That broke the meet mark of 47-4.25 set in 2015 by Zakiyy Wlliams of Rancocas Valley. Joyner's previous PR came when he went 46-5 this past indoor season at the Eastern States Championships.

Momodu, a senior at Egg Harbor, also surpassed Williams' former meet record with his runner-up finish of 47-9, which broke the Atlantic County record. Momodu smashed his previous PR of 44-3 by over three feet!!!
