Dennisha Page burned up the track on Friday night with a sizzling sprint double in Group 3 at the South Jersey Championships at Delsea High School.

The senior at Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden became just the fifth girl in state history to run under 11.70 in the 100m and under 55.00 in the 400!!!!

The Syracuse-bound Page ran a huge personal best, NJ#1 time and meet record of 11.68 (NWI) in the trials of the 100m dash, which is No. 14 in state history and the fastest time in the state since Bria Mack of Williamstown ran 11.58 to win the state Group 4 title in 2017.

The 11.68 destroys Page's previous best of 11.90 that she ran when she placed second at the Meet of Champions last year.  In case you are wondering, the state record in the 100m dash is 11.42 by Michele Glover of Willingboro.

Page came back later to win the 100m final in 11.69, and capped off her night by running a NJ#3 and meet record 54.41 to win the 400m.

Page joined Regina Trotter of Weequahic, Shavon Greaves of Lakewood, English Gardner of Eastern, and Olivia Baker of Columbia as the only girls in NJ history to go sub 11.00 and sub 55.00!!!
