Cherry Hill East swept the team titles, and Sophie Steidle of Collingswood ran personal best to win the girls race at Saturday's Ray Hoagland Invitational at the Rancocas Valley Sports Complex.

The Cherry Hill East boys went 1-2-3, averaged 16:38, and put six runners in the top 13 on the way to a 24-33 victory over Shawnee. Junior Oliver Adler won the race for CHE with a huge PR of 16:13, and teammates Justin Whitney (16:17), and Kyle Krell (16:20) went 2-3. Whitney and Krell also crushed their old PR's.

In the girls race, Steidle, a sophomore, continued her torrid start to the season by crossing the line first in 19:36, a minute ahead of runner-up Tabitha DiDonato of Cherry Hill East (20:36). Steidle's 19:36 is three seconds under her former PR of 19:39 that she ran to place seventh, at the Colonial Conference All Star meet last year at Pennypacker Park. Steidle was second at the Cherokee Challenge two weeks ago, and second at Briarwood last week.

DiDonato led a dominate performance by CHE, which jammed its seven runners in the top 10, and had a 1-5 spread of 32 seconds en route to a 21-49 victory over Eastern.
