Let's start the cross country returner previews off with a bang, time to take a look at Holmdel Park! Here are the top 1,000 returning New Jersey boys at the historic state course.
Having completed his school year triple crown with MOC titles in all three seasons (XC-WT-ST) Devin Hart of Pt. Pleasant Boro looks once again to defend his throne from the masses. Hart won last year's cross country Meet of Champions title handily and advanced from there through Foot Locker Regionals to finish his junior season 10th at Foot Locker Nationals. He leads this Holmdel Park course list with a time of 15:34, one of only two listed under 16 minutes.
It will be a tall ask for anyone to upset Hart at the Meet of Champions but there is certainly a talented list of athletes looking to do so. Mendham has two boys in the top three behind Hart, Jack Jennings had a fantastic sophomore season and is the only other performer to break 16 at 15:57.
