The race has been chosen as a MileSplit Kick of the Week!
On Friday night during our Rowan University Girls HS Open live stream Ajae Alvarez-Tyler made a statement race in the 400m. The Egg Harbor Twp senior won the race in comeback fashion with a state leading time of 56.60, a career best so far. She also doubled back later that night to place sixth in the 200m with a time of 26.03.
Alvarez-Tyler showed her strength in the 400m event this past indoor season when she finished fourth at the Meet of Champions and set an indoor best of 56.78 at Eastern States Championships. Through the 2017 spring season her best was a 58.11, she's put in some major work since then and it has shown.
