On Friday night during the Temple University Invitational one of New Jersey's track and field greats Ajee' Wilson opened up her outdoor season. She found success doing so earning wins for the 1500m with a time of 4:12.52 and the 800m at 2:01.68. The 1500m time was just a split second off her best time of 4:12.10. 

Ajee' Wilson still holds New Jersey's indoor and outdoor 800m state records with times of 2:04.13 and 2:00.91 respectively. The adidas sponsored athlete competed for Neptune HS, while studying at the Academy of Allied Health & Science, before graduating in 2012 and deciding to go pro. 

Plenty of other New Jersey high school graduates were in these races as well: Julianna Catania (Egg Harbor Twp'16), Marin Warner (Holmdel '15), Juliet Kohli (Montclair 2016) Rachel Stremme (Ocean City '15) to name a few.
