On Monday night at the STCA Season Opener #1 meet Asbury Park senior Davensky Joinvilmar cleared 6-06 in the high jump to win by eight inches over the rest of the field. The season is still young but that moved him up to NJ#1 and is tied for #9 in the nation so far.
This was a two inch indoor PR for Joinvilmar, he cleared 6-6 last spring when he won the Group 1 Championship in the event. He was fifth at the Meet of Champions last winter and was tied for second among indoor returners at 6-04.
