800 Meter Run - State Rankings
A freshman showdown, the top two seeds for this event come from the class of 2020. Both Victoria Vanriele of Governor Livingston 2:13.71 NJ#2 and Kami Joi Hickson of Washington Twp 2:14.99 NJ#3 won their respective Group Championships and lead seeds from last weekend.
The state leader Lexi Del Gizzo of Tenafly is also in the mix for the title. Briana Gess of Haddonfield, Reanda Richards of West Essex, Essence Baker of South Brunswick, Megan Quimby of Lenape Regional, and top returner from last year Caroline O'Sullivan of Old Tappan are all names you should know for the event.

Rachel Vick of Kingsway leads the way with her 5:01.96, Caroline O'Sullivan of Old Tappan 5:02.26, Elana DiMarcello of North Hunterdon 5:04.03, and the top returner from last year's MOCs Briana Gess of Haddonfield 5:04.15.
Keep an eye out for those girls as well as others in the mix such as Abby Loveys, Alyssa Condell, Olympia Martin, Amanda Stone, Madison Brand.

The top seed from Groups is Niamh Hayes of Howell HS who ran a 10:39.50 for the Group 4 title. The state leader is Alyssa Aldridge of Mainland Regional who has a converted 3200 meter time of 10:33.95. With those two meeting at the Meet of Champions it should be an exciting race.
Also in the mix is Brooke Olson of Randolph, Ana Campbell of Pope John XXIII, Olympia Martin of Ridgewood , and Madyson Reilly of Toms River North.
