It may not have been the result they expected right after the finish of the Boys Eastern States Race on Saturday, but it was nevertheless the right result. The Ironmen of DBP did not think that they had won the prestigious highlight race at the Manhattan Invitational. They did and did so impressively. Led by Leighton Spencer in 7th place Don Bosco's team average was 13:05.

On the whole, there was very little serious movement in this week's Top Ten. Mendham mves up to #6 from #8 off of a nice day at VCP and Old Bridge bows in at #10, replacing Red Bank Catholic.

Runner of The Week

All Joe does, week in and week out is get better and turn in amazing times / performances. This week the super soph took top honors in the Boys Eastern States Race at van Cortlandt Park. His 12:20 makes him the #13 AT on the 2.5mi course and #4 New Jersey AT.
