Olympian Sydney McLaughlin Chooses the University of Kentucky

New Jersey and National high school legend Sydney McLaughlin has chosen the University of Kentucky to continue her education and athletic career. The news was broken Monday night by Jim Lambert of NJ Advance Media. 

McLaughlin, who has made a historic career at Union Catholic High School, advanced to the 400m hurdles semifinal round at the Rio Olympics this past summer at the young age of 17. At July's U.S. Olympic Trials, she was 16 when she placed third in a new national high school record and world junior (U-20) record of 54.15.
