Taylor McLaughlin Brings Home Silver in 400 Hurdles | U20 Worlds

On Saturday New Jersey's very own Taylor McLaughlin lined up for the 400m hurdles final of the IAAF World U20 Championships in Poland. When he crossed the line he had run a personal record of 49.45 and earned a silver medal. 

His best time going in was a 49.73 which he ran in the semi-finals at NCAA Championships back in early June. 

Taylor had a very successful high school career at Union Catholic graduating in 2015. He then moved on to post a remarkable true freshmen year at the University of Michigan placing 5th at Division 1 NCAA Championships this past spring. After NCAAs he made Team USA qualifying for U20 Worlds winning the USATF Junior National title in the 400m hurdles running 50.74 in June.
