The NJSIAA will hold its second straight 200 meter showcase at the Meet of Champions this year. Expanding to top 24 boys and girls!
Those eligible and interested in running the showcase must accept the invitation by NOON February 15th, 2016. You can contact Bill Bruno at bbruno@njsiaa.org to RSVP. All seeds will be frozen the day after Groups on February 21st.
200 Meter Showcase Instructions and Details
- The top 24 F.A.T. timed athletes are invited, however if you are close (within 10 or so) to the cutoff send in a reservation email to Bill Bruno at bbruno@njsiaa.org in case those top ranked 24 athletes do not accept the invite.
- The deadline to accept the invitation is noon on Monday, February 15th.
- An initial list of the accepted top 24 invitations and those on the bubble who have also said they want to run will be posted Monday February 15th deadline.
- After your Group Championship meets conclude you must let Bill Bruno know if you will be scratching the 200 meter showcase entry before you leave the meet. After the scratches are removed a FINAL 200 meter showcase list will be released that Sunday (2/21) or Monday (2/22).

Last year at the 2015 showcase Sterling Pierce of Rancocas Valley won the boys event with a 22.20. On the girls side Kiara Lester from Deptford won with a 25.18, she returns to defend her showcase title.
