2016 State Shot Put Rankings Boys | Girls
On Wednesday US#1 ranked Alyssa Wilson continued a season where she hasn't thrown less than 51-10, she won the Rebel Shot Put Series Championship with her mark of 53-04. Remarkably just her fourth best throw of the 2016 indoor schedule, her longest came back in December when she set the state record and national junior class record thanks to a 54-05 bomb at the Bishop Loughlin games. Also throwing well at this meet, Danielle Notarfrancesco of Jackson Liberty with 40-5.5, and Stephanie Bock of Howell marking 39-8.5.

On the boys side the senior Brandon Davis of Old Bridge won the championship with a mark of 56-03.25. He was followed closely by fellow senior and teammate Dominic Walton in second with 55-10. Both now rank top six in the state with Dave NJ#5 thanks to his 56-8.75 at NJSIAA Relays and Walton NJ#6 with his new PR of 55-10 from this meet.
