Monica Heil of St. John Vianney has chosen her college! She has accepted an offer to run at Boston College next year and the talented sprinter will be signing in November.

Heil's 2015 campaign as a junior was huge in terms of lowering personal records and winning championships. Last spring she won the Monmouth and Shore Conference individual titles in the 400m with 56.72 and 56.29, just to keep rolling off time from there at the state level. She followed those wins up with a second place performance at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions running a personal best of 55.86, her first time under 56 seconds.

She also had a seventh place finish in the 200 meter last season at the Meet of Champions and holds a personal best of 25.11 in the event. Other notable personal records include: 7.67 in the 55 meter and 13.00 in the 100 meter.

The list was narrowed down to Boston College, Richmond, JMU, Quinnipiac, and Monmouth before her final decision on BC. She's talented on the soccer pitch as well which also drew interest from Wagner.
