Attributing her early success to a great base from cross country this year verse not running cross in 2013 the Northern Highlands senior Catherine Pagano has had a great start so far to her 2015 indoor season. Just a week ago, December 20th, at the Bishop Loughlin Games she made a case for a Millrose invite running 4:53.29 in the one mile placing second behind an automatic bid by Marissa Sheva of Pennridge HS (PA) who ran 4:50.73. Pagano's 4:53.29 currently sits at US#3. That was her fastest mile time indoor by 10 seconds, her career best time overall mile came during New Balance Outdoor Nationals last spring where she placed 5th running 4:48.13.
