TUSCANY, Italy – University of Richmond Spiders sophomore Marisa Ruskan placed eighth overall at the 30th World Mountain Running Championships in Tuscany, Italy on Sunday morning.
Running as part of the United States Junior Women’s National team, Ruskan was the second U.S. finisher in a time of 21:39. Ruskan helped clinch the silver medal for the United States, beating the Czech Republic’s Carmen Idris Beshirova by two seconds.
