THE PLEASANTVILLE BOYS TAKE HOME THE CHAMPIONSHIP! "Pleasantville (NJ) won a thrilling race with a time of 7:40.71, with the Clark brothers running the 2nd and 4th legs in sub-1:50! Splits were Dagoberto Arias, 1:58.17, Isaac Clark, 1:49.57, Radcliffe Narinensingh, 2:03.82, and Jacob Clark, 1:49.17.  Westfield (NJ) was just back in 2nd with a time of 7:41.84." - Aaron Rich MileSplit US

Union Catholic boys compete in the Championship, they take 5th with a 3:16.06 after running a 3:14.00 in the trials. 1st American team however! Great work boys, sign of great things this season.

Jordan Pacheco of Morris Hills goes over the bar at 15-01 for 3rd place, NJ#2! The dude leading NJ in Pole Vault placed 6th with a 14-09 that's Craig Hunter who holds the NJ#1 spot with a 16-0.75 that he vaulted on April 5th at the Arcadia Invite.

Union Catholic rips a 3:14.00 for a school record! They finish 5th and qualify for the Championship later today. Timber Creek boys also pump out a fantastic time of 3:16.65 in 11th.

Jeph Olali of Union has a season best of of 55.78 which is a NJ#5, a career best of 52.73, he didn't run that time at Penn on Saturday. He took a few spills got up and finished the race gingerly before recieving medical treatment. What a tough showing of determination. I hope you're okay and don't miss too much time.

Braheme Days Jr can just LAUNCH heavy metal objects. Today he hit a US#2 mark of 67-08.25!!! That was for the championship, second was all the way back at 63-01.25! The second best performance of the day by NJ was given by The Lawrenceville School's Chris Cook with a 59-0.25 in 5th and he was followed by Mahwah's Spencer Ross in 6th with a 58-11.25.

Boys 1 Mile Run

Ben Malone was the only New Jersey athlete in the HS Boys 1 mile, and he took on that role well. With a blazing 4:05.59 he took second only behind the fantastic 4:04.47 by Sean McGorty of Chantilly (VA). That's a NJ#1 and US#2 for Malone!!! Congrats man what an amazing time. CRAZY.

New Jersey goes 4, 5, and 6! In the 3000m thanks to Jack Boyle (8.26.74), Tom O'Neill (8:27.66), and Kyle Levermore (8:27.80). We were pretty strong in this event taking 4 of the Top 10!

The Christian Brothers lined up for the DMR Championship for the 28th time in it's history. They took 3rd behind NY's Northport 10:05.47 and La Salle College of PA with a 10:04.93. What a close race indeed. Great job NJ, Pope John XXIII also cracked the top six with a time of 10:10.56. In 9th Cheserek of St. Benedict's Prep splits a 4:05.1 to bring his team home!!

In 5th Joshua Awotunde of Delsea hits a 184-03 that's a new NJ#1!! He overtake's the season high mark of Jame Plummer who came in 8th at this meet with a 175-04. Plummer's season best of 181-11 that has now been bumped to a NJ#1 came from the Buena Relays on April 6th.

FREEHOLD TWP GIRLS GO 9:16.75! Out running Columbia in the NJ battle at least finishing 4th in the Large Schools, Columbia did not run the 800 machine Olivia Baker. That strengthens their hold on NJ#2 behind Columbia's 9:13.79 ran at the Cougar Classic on April 13th, and that'll be a Top 10 time in the US rankings! Columbia finishes in a different heat with a 9:17.23, they still hold the NJ#1 time with that 9:13.79 ran earlier in the season.

Winslow Twp takes 9th in Prelims out of 586 teams with a 47.65! That's a new NJ#1 taking down Columbia's time of 47.97 ran on April 13th at the Cougar Classic. Winslow was previously sitting at NJ#2 with a 47.99 ran at the Woodbury Relays this past weekend.

JESSICA WOODARDDDDD!! Third overall and the first american in the Discus with a 156-05. NJ was all over this event taking 7 of the 18 spots. Jessica Woodard already has a throw of 161-1 which is a NJ#1 and US#4, she marked that throw two weekends ago at the West Deptford Relays, will be attending the University of Oklahoma next fall. In 6th Michelle Bazile of Princeton had an amazing Personal Best  with a 139-03.

Columbia girls comes back in the 4x400m to take second in the Trials with a 3:42.75! The beef up their NJ#1 spot (ran 3:48.24 at the Woodbury Relays on April 20th) and A US#2!!!! They were the top american team running only losing to Holmwood Tech of Jamaica.

Keturah Orji of Mount Olive and Iana Amsterdam of Essex County Vo Tech continue to wow and impress, they hit a 40-09.5. These are top US marks and they are now tied for the best mark of the NJ season so far. AMAZING jumpers from New Jersey in all the events.
