Back during XC season, West Deptford coach Mark Drummond suggested that if I wanted to come down to a great early season relay meet, the 20th West Deptford Relays would be the ticket. NJRunners is taking Coach Drummond up on the invitation and will be on site at West deptford HS tomorrow to bring you coverage of the meet.
The meet kicks off at 9:00am. Listed below is information to help get you there and enjoy the action (schedule, records and more).

Live Updates
Meet goes off right on time with the Small Schools section of the 4x1600m
* The home team picks up the first win of the day in the Sm schools division of the 4x1600m
* The Lg. school race is on the track now and Moorestown hands off to the 3rd leg in 1st place
And Moorestown wins the Lg. School section.
* We are now on the 3x400H with the Gr. 1&2 races complete and the Gr. 3 girls on the track.
In the Gr. 4 race. Sty'ece McNeil leads a 1-2-3-sweep of their Division. McNeils time was 63.92
* Now up, the 4x100m Relays starting with Gr. 1
We are stlll waiting on times for the winners and will report them ASAP
* Stey'ce McNeil comes back in less than 20 min. and anchors the Winslow Twp 4x100 team to the Gr. 4 win.

* DMRs are now on the track
The Groups 2&4 DMR are running now. The anchor leg for Cherokee will be distance ace Megan Lacy
Lacy anchors in 4:43.xx to lead the Cherokee win (12:25.58). She gets the stick in 5/6 and is in the lead after 400m
We will be posting a post DMR interview with Megan.
The SHRs are on the track and I am trying to get results and news from the Field Events
Just ran ran into Cherokee's Mark Jarvis who reports the Jess Woodard had a 144-0 toss in the Discus. The throw replaces her prvious NJ #1 and puts her into the Top 25 nationally.
* Winslow Twp. and Stey'ce McNeil pick up their 3rd Golds of the day in the 4x200m Relay
* Meet is running along very smoothly. Resuls are slow due to the scoring by division.
* From the Field..Vineland's Maria Jimenez threw the Jav. 146' . Mark is NJ #1 and US #7
* The G4 SMR is coming up with Megan Lacy doubling back on the anchor for Cherokee.
Lacy brings the Lady Chiefs home with the win, turning in a 2:19.8 anchor leg.
* Winslow makes it 4 wins as McNeil gets them home in 4:06.59
Action on the track is complete. Still waiting on a couple of Field Events.
