2015 Cross Country Committee Meeting Minutes and Results

NJSIAA Office @ Robbinsville, NJ

1) Continue the use of bibs with chips attached for Group and Meet of Champions.

Cost and time effective.

2) The # of 8 per team will remain for next year. The # of changes were minimal.

For roster changes, the same format used this year will once again be employed for next year.

3) The due date for BOTH Public and Non-Public will be the SAME-10/19/2016.

4) Amend the Rules& Regulations for the Non-Public entry procedure.

5) Non Publics will have until mid-night of the Thursday before the group meet to make

Roster changes.

6) Starting September 2016, the Non-Publics will be grouped strictly by population.

There will be no shifting of groups.

7) Next year sites were approved---same as this year.

8) Awards stand, with permission of the parks, will be moved to the concrete patio by the visitors

Center. A three foot elevated stage will be secured.

The committee also discussed the need for evacuation plans for each site for the sections, group and MOC. Each site director, park supervisors and tournament directors will meet to develop said plans. Once completed, the plans will be included in the meet packet information.

Dates for the Sections, Groups and MOC are:

Sections 11/5 Group 11/12 MOC 11/19

The order of running for the Sections on 11/5/16 will be:

10:00 am B- 4 11:40 am B- 3

10:25 am B- 1 12:05 pm B-2

10:50 am G- 4 12:30 pm G-3

11:15 am G -1 12:55 pm G-2

The order of running for the Groups on 11/12/16 will be:

10:00 am B-A Noon B-4 2:00 pm B-3

10:30 am B-B 12:30 pm B-1 2:30 pm B-2

11:00 am G-A 1:00 pm G-4 3:00 pm G-3

11:30 am G-B 1:30 pm G-1 3:30pm G-2
