The Union Catholic girls still had plenty left in the tank when the 4x400m came around.
After finding themselves in third heading into the final leg Sydney McLaughlin burst into first on the final turn with a 51.45 split! The girls crossed the tape with a state record, meet record, and US#4 ALL TIME performance of 3:35.90!! The team consisted of Tia Livingston 55.6, Amari Onque-Shabazz 54.2, Chandi Piiru 54.38, and Sydney McLaughlin 51.45.
They broke their own state record from the week previous at the adidas Grand Prix. Awesome stuff this season!
