Holmdel, the historic test and measure of any New Jersey high school cross country runner. Where the group state meets and the eventual super bowl of New Jersey cross country the Meet of Champions are held. Teams from all over train on it when they can and it helps a big name meet, the Shore Coaches Invitational, bring out of state talents to our historic soil. Here are the returning times from 2013 in order.
Times run on this course are indeed a decent measure of how you fair within the state, and thanks to Pat Montferrat who put these lists together we can take a look at the upcoming season for ourselves. Now we all know that many of these times will improve this season as well so don't count out anyone especially as athletes grow a year older and stronger. Please note for the team rankings, there may be some talented teams that would be ranked very high on the list who did not have five returning Holmdel times. Therefore the team ranking lists may be a little thrown off.
