Beloved is excited to invite your school to participate in the 2026 Beloved Middle School Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, October 17, at Lincoln Park in Jersey City.

Over the past several years, we have worked to give middle school cross-country athletes opportunities to compete and gain valuable racing experience.Our goal is to continue growing middle school cross country and provide young runners with a well-organized, competitive meet that prepares them for the experience of competing at the high school level.

Meet Information

• Date: Saturday, October 17, 2026

• Location: Lincoln Park, Jersey City

• Course Distance: 1.8 miles

• Eligible Athletes: Grades 5-8

• Entry Fee: $10 per athlete

• Meet Director & Timing: Maurice Bell - Viper Timing

• Officials: NJSIAA-certified officials will serve as starters and clerks.

• Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 20 finishers in each race.

Registration and Entry Information

Entry Deadline: Thursday, October 15, 2026

All participating schools must complete both of the following:

1. Online Registration: Enter all participating athletes through NJ MileSplit. (I will send the link for the event page when it is posted)

2. Paper Entry Form: Complete the attached entry form with your school's information, number of boys and girls competing, and total entry fee. Email the completed form to jwaldron@belovedcc.org.

Please make sure your paper entry form accurately reflects the athletes entered on MileSplit so that we can properly prepare for the meet.

We encourage all schools, including those that may be new to cross country or have smaller teams, to consider participating. This is a great opportunity for young runners to experience a professionally timed meet with certified officials and individual awards.
