NJISAA Outdoor Track Relays 2025

Date: Friday 4/4/25 (NO RAIN DATE)

Time: Coaches meeting at 3:30 p.m.  This is an important operational meeting. Please be on time! 

Meet start- 4:00

Location: Lawrenceville School, 79 Lewisville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648

AWARDS: No medals, no team scoring, both divisions run together

ENTRIES: If a team is not entered into NJ Milesplit, that team will not compete. The data may be entered on NJ Milesplit after 3/20/25. Please see the link on the NJ Milesplit calendar page (email dduncan@lawrenceville.org for password if you do not have it). You have until Wednesday April 2 @ 8pm TO COMPLETE YOUR ENTRY (NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED, NO ADDITIONS ON MEET DAY)

For relays highlighting will not be necessary since this is a non-scoring meet. On the day of the meet, coaches will be permitted to declare if their relay is competing no later than 30 minutes before the event. Teams are permitted to enter TWO VARSITY RELAYS (A team and B team) per event. DO NOT ENTER FRESHMAN RELAYS. Relay must be entered online. Please print a copy of your entries from NJ Milesplit if needed as we will not have a printer onsite. 

ELIGIBILITY:  Rules of the NJISAA will apply.  A maximum of four events per athlete.

RULES:  Boys followed by girls in running events. Athletes check in with the judge at each field event. Shot puts will be weighed at the event.

All field events relays are 2-person with 3 attempts. NO FINALS

For the NJISAA outdoor relays, if one partner does not make the minimum, the other partner is still allowed to participate. 

Order of Running Events

1.  3 x 400m Intermediate Hurdles

2. 4x100

Order of events for throwing venues - Boys/girls will rotate through the throwing venues. The rotation will be announced at the coaches meeting.

Opening Heights for Pole Vault and High Jump:

PV Boys = 8'6 feet; PV Girls = 6'6 (up by 6 inches; 6 jump rule). Boys can enter at 8'6 (1 PV mat). 

HJ Boys =5 feet; HJ Girls = 4 feet (up by 3 inches); Girls will go first (1 mat will be used)

Long and Triple Jump- 1 pit for long and 1 pit for triple. Girls will long jump first, and boys will triple jump first then they will switch. Horizontal jumps have an "open pit" format with no finals.
