**IMPORTANT MEET INFORMATION**

1. All Skyland Conference policies and regulations must be followed at all times.

1. Warm-ups will begin 1 hour prior to the beginning of the meet. 

1. Spikes are not allowed in any shoes at any time. Pole Vaulters may wear sneakers, flats, or jumping shoes with ALL-rubber bottoms ANDNO spikes. NO plastic-bottomed shoes! NO spikes! There will be a roll-out runway for the pole vault area (but no spikes will be allowed!!). All competitors' shoes will be checked by meet officials.

1. You may enter as many individuals as you wish. The cost is $10 per athlete. Athletes may compete in multiple events. When you arrive you will be asked to fill out event cards for each athlete and the events they are competing in. Coaches will fill out weight verification sheets for their pole vault athletes and hand them in to the pole vault official to check in their poles. There will also be a no-spike verification waiver that the head coach must sign and hand in prior to warm up. Again, please remind your athletes and ensure that they have no spikes or hard plastic bottoms to their shoes.

1. Girls opening height is 6' 0". Progression will be:  6' 0", 7' 0", 7' 6" and so on by 6 inches. (BOYS VAULT on 1/21/25)

2. Boys opening height is 8' 0". Progression will be:  8' 0", 9' 0", 9' 6" and so on by 6 inches. (GIRLS VAULT on 2/21/25)

3. Any vaulter who passes 3 consecutive heights will be allowed a warm-up jump. Please hand in pole vault cards, and have athletes check their poles in to the pole vault official before warming up.

1. Boys and Girls will throw separately for shot put. Each athlete will get 4 throws. All fair throws will be measured. Please hand in cards and have throwing implements checked by the shot put official before warming up. Schools should bring their own "INDOOR SHOTS".

1. Please email your school's confirmation by January 14, 2025. Coaches, please  include the number of athletes that will be competing in each event, for boys and girls.
