HC Pole Vault & Shot Put Invitational
MONDAY, JANUARY 22 5:00 PM Warmups Cost: $15 per athlete

**IMPORTANT MEET INFORMATION**
All Skyland Conference policies and regulations must be followed at all times.
Warm ups will begin at 5:00 PM, and we hope to get started with competition between 5:30 and 5:40 PM.
Spikes are not allowed in any shoes at any time. Pole Vaulters may wear sneakers, flats, or jumping shoes with all-rubber bottoms and no spikes. No plastic-bottomed shoes! No spikes! There will be a roll-out runway for the pole vault area (but no spikes will be allowed!!). All competitors shoes will be checked by meet officials.
You may enter as many individuals as you wish. The cost is $15 per athlete. Please fill out your own index cards for all athletes containing the following:
Event (Boys Pole Vault, Girls Pole Vault, Boys Shot Put, Girls Shot Put)
First and Last Name
School
Seed Height (pole vault) or Seed Distance (shot put)
Boys and Girls will jump together for pole vault. Girls opening height is 6' 1". Boys opening height is 8' 1". Heights will increase by 1 foot, then 6 inches. Any vaulter who passes 3 consecutive heights will be allowed a warm-up jump. Please hand in seed cards and vaulter weight verification, and have athletes check their poles in to the pole vault official before warming up.
Boys and Girls will throw separately for shot put. Each athlete will get 3 throws. All fair throws will be measured. Please hand in seed cards and have throwing implements checked by the shot put official before warming up.
Please email your school's confirmation by Wednesday, January 17 . Coaches, please list the number of athletes that will be competing in each event, for boys and girls.
