| 23rd AnnualCROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL September 16, 2017 – Lincoln Park – JERSEY CITY We would like to welcome you all to the 23rd annual of our Cross Country Invitational. We hope you enjoy what should be a beautiful day and competitive meet, dedicated to the loving memory of our long-time SDA supporters, Cay & Vic Bastek. Also, following the 16th anniversary of that tragic attack on America in 2001, please remember those who died and those who have soldiered on, keeping the memories of their loved ones alive. Many of our veteran coaches and their teams helped with our food bank all those years ago. Since chalk markings are not permitted on the paths or trees, please follow along the outside of the police caution tape that lines the course. The bathrooms will be open and are located next to the track. All races will go off as scheduled; medals and championship t-shirts have been allotted based on numbers of participants and teams. Plan ahead for the 21st Annual Spring Thaw Run on March 17, 2018, the 20th Anniversary SDA Spring Invitational on April 2, 2018, and Radix Running Camp at Brookwood Camp August 2017 in Glen Spey, N.Y. and the 24th Annual SDA XC Invitational on @ September 15, 2018. The Jersey City Indoor Track & Field Series at the Jersey City Armory will get underway with the 17th Annual Leon Bailey- Liberty Relays on December 16, 2017.
