MERGE: Thompson 2 Miler Boys 2026


Results

Ryan Heissler of Allentown won the junior race with a 10:22.91 and had the quickest time of the day at Thompson 2 Miler, he helped lead his team to a third place finish in the overall merge with 103 points and an 11:03.94 average. 

The senior race was won by Cole Kober of North Hunterdon at 10:27.72, the second fastest of the meet. Sophomores were led by Richard Lorenz of Highland Regional with a 10:41.27, the sixth fastest on the day. And the freshmen race victory went to Lucca Sanz of Hunterdon Central.

Team wise it was all Highland Regional out front with 41 points, an average of 10:48.87, and just 15 seconds between their top five! They were led by senior Colin Roznowski with the fifth fastest time of the day at 10:39.71, the aforementioned Lorenz was their second runner at 10:41.27. The rest of their scoring five in the merge included Oluwanifemi Fadulu, Liam Murphy, and William Sinn all right around the same time of 10:54.

Hunterdon Central was second as a team in the merge with 90 points and an 11:06 average, led by sophomore Filippo Vasconi, tenth fastest overall, at 10:45.57.
