Shore Conference X-C Update 9/19-9/25- 2010
Things are starting to get interesting in the second week of divisional competition on the shore. Now that most teams have been to at least one invitational and the weather starts to cool we start to see the competition heating up.
Here are the top times and some results from up and down the Shore Conference:
Boys Cross Country
In dual meet action at Holmdel Park we had CBA taking on Middletown South. CBA came out on top with 17 points to Midd. Souths 40. Impressive sub-18 minute Holmdel Park times were posted by Scott Zapcic (17:11) CBA, Jack Boyle (17:34) CBA, TJ Mullen (17:42) CBA, James Coulter (17:47) Midd. So., and Jon Mugavero (17:58) CBA.
It must have been a great race to watch at Bucks Mill Park yesterday where Red Bank Catholic just edged out Colts Neck 27-28 with the top 4 runners finishing under 17 minutes.

Girls Cross Country
Molly McNamara of Red Bank Catholic put up the only sub-19 minute performance by a girl this week and it was an impressive one. 18:11 at Bucks Mill Park was more than enough to come in first and help her team to a 17-44 victory over Colts Neck. Brianna Feerst continues to put up strong times with a very impressive 19:06 at OCP yesterday for the win in a dual meet with St. Rose.
