I must say I'm a little bummed the meets are cancelled this weekend. I am about 85% sure I cannot make all three days next week. I am swamped at work and I barely managed to sneak out today (shhh don't tell Uncle Sam). I guess it's good for which ever group was running Sunday at 3pm because now they will get to see the Super Bowl

55hurdle trials are just about complete which puts the boys 1600m races on the track. In North I Curtis Richburg (West Orange) has to be the favorite, he has the fastest time in the section coming into today running 4:21.78, I wouldn't count out Dan Rondon from North Bergen. Richburg has been somewhat inconsistant this indoor season so anything can happen.

In a really awsome North 2 Girls 800m battle, Elizabeth's Letitia Salley held off Brittney Jackson in around 2:20. Jackson crossed in 2:21. Jackson made a HARD push on the back stretch but Salley held her off the whole way around. This was Jackson's 3rd event (1600 and HJ) not sure how many for Salley
