Johnston had a breakout cross country season winning three invitational races including Cherokee Challenge, Night at the Nest, and now Bermuda XC Challenge as well as two championship titles during the Mercer County Championships and NJSIAA Central Group 2 Sectional.

Leading up to this trip Johnston had finished second at Group 2 State Champs, ran to ninth during NJSIAA Meet of Champs, and 27th during the Champs Northeast Regional.

On the boys side Millburn HS saw three athletes make the trip to compete with sophomore Ben Lawentman leading the way for NJ in 10th. His teammates Jack Meyerowitz and Simon Glass 14th and 15th.

This is the first year of the Bermuda XC Challenge and the event is looking to grow in the future so keep an eye out for next year's entries.
