Aziz Muhammad-Kane's 16:52 was enough to claim the individual Camden County Championship title and to lead his team to a team Championship title. Muhammad-Kane won by 10 seconds and was followed by teammates Gavin Gallo, Jake Smith, Cole Knoedler and Anthony Imperatore as all of the top 5 Highland runners were within the top 15 spots. As a top 5 team in Group 3, the Highland Regional boys will look to go far into the post season and contend for a spot at Meet of Champions.
In the girls race, Paul VI HS junior Shaelan McNally took the field by storm, cruising to victory by 1 minute and 30 seconds and a new seasonal best time of 19:29. 2nd place was McNally's teammate and rising star Macy Huber. The dynamic 1-2 punch from Paul VI was not enough to defeat Haddonfield's pack of 5 taking spots 4-8. The Bulldawgs defeated Paul VI in a close 30-43 battle. So far this season, Haddonfield's girls have a firm grasp on Group 2, and look to continue their dominance into the postseason.
