Watch Marco Langon Run 4:15 At 757 Showdown

Updated after original posting, Langon's mile performance has since been DQ'd for impeding.

In Virginia Beach this weekend New Jersey's Marco Langon has shown quick pace, even though one of those fast performances ended up a DQ.

On Saturday Langon ran to third in the 2 mile run with a time of 9:21.47 for US No. 13, Edward Blaha and Azaan Dawson running 1-2 at 9:12.59 and 9:15.36.

Langon followed that up with what was a 4:15.41 mile run before it was announced he was DQ'd for impeding Dawson during their battle to the line with an extended arm. Azaan Dawson of Connecticut was declared the official winner of the the race with a time of 4:15.43.

Despite the DQ Langon showed signs of great times to come this winter and spring.

Langon is a junior at Bridgewater-Raritan, he won the 2019 New Balance Nationals Freshman Mile both indoor and outdoors in 2019 and was sixth in the Group 4 State Championship in 2020. His indoor mile PR coming into this race was a 4:26.72 and 1600m was 4:22.49. He's run a 4:17.57 1600m outdoors.
