Bill Bruno, the NJSIAA Cross Country Tournament Director, announced on Friday afternoon a sectional site change, locations and dates for the first-ever Non-Public Sectional Championships, and the schedule for all sectional races.
Bruno said Oak Ridge Park in Clark will serve as the host for the North 2 Cross Country Championships. The Greystone course at Central Park in Morris Plains, the site of the North 2 meet since 2012, isn't available this season, according to Bruno.
All public school sectional meets are scheduled or Saturday, Nov. 14. The other three public school sectional sites remain the same: North 1 at Garret Mountain in Woodland Park, Central at Thompson Park in Jamesburg, and South at Delsea High School in Franklinville.

The other big piece of news that Bruno shared is that Oak Ridge Park will also be the site for the South Jersey, Non-Public A and B Sectional Championships, and that Garret Mountain in Woodland Park will host the North Jersey Non-Public A and B Championships. Both Non-Public Sectional meets will be held on Sunday, Nov. 15.
Oak Ridge Park, formerly a golf course, has been used for the Union County Conference XC Championships in 2018 and '19, and the layout has held several dual meets since being created three years ago.
Oak Ridge is the third different site used for the North 2 meet. Prior to Greystone, Warinanco Park in Elizabeth served as the sectional course for several years. Warinanco was last used in 2011.
It has also been noted that the cross country regulations packet will be released by August 22nd.
