The fastest 1,000 times returning from last fall's cross country season at Holmdel Park.
Last fall Camryn Wennersten of Ridgewood ran to eighth all-time at Holmdel Park with her second place run at the Shore Coaches Invitational, the now graduated state champion Chloe Gonzalez was the leader in that epic race with a sixth all-time 17:45.
Charlotte Bednar of The Lawrenceville School posted a quick time in the Varsity F race at Shore Coaches as well winning by 40 seconds with an 18:00.
With the cancellation of the NJSIAA Groups and Meet of Champions we may not see as many times posted at Holmdel this year, but as the baseline for athletes in the state this is still a great look at the strength of the returning field.
