Reported by the Daily Record, Dover HS and the New Jersey track and field community lost Steven Gomez-Restrepo on the night of Saturday, September 21st. A week prior on September 13th, Gomez-Restrepo was struck by a car after a football game at Morris Knolls High School and had since been in a medically induced coma.
Gomez-Restrepo, a sophomore at Dover HS, had competed on the Dover high school and middle school cross country and track and field teams.
